Plaid creates a read-only token Closo uses to confirm a bank account belongs to you. It is used for manual wire withdrawals and past-window refunds in the Wallet — it does not route your standard seller payouts.
What happens after you link an account
When you link an account, Closo checks that the account-holder name matches your verified identity, and one of three things happens:
Auto-approved — the name matches and the account is ready to use. Manual review — we need to review the account before withdrawals are allowed, and we will email you with a decision within 24 hours. Auto-denied — the account-holder name does not match your verified identity.
