How the notifications bell works

The bell icon in the top-right corner shows everything Closo has done for you recently — items posted, listings sold, marketplaces reconnected, and anything that needs your attention.

The bell icon sits in the top-right of every Closo seller page. A small red dot appears when something is unread. Click the bell to open a tray showing your recent activity — sales, listings posted, marketplace events, and anything that needs your attention.

What the bell shows

Item sold
A buyer purchased your item on one of your connected marketplaces. Tap to see which marketplace, which item, and the sale price.
Listing posted
A cross-list completed successfully on a marketplace. Useful confirmation that the work flowed through.
Listing failed
A cross-list could not complete — usually a category-mapping issue or a marketplace rejection. Tap for the specific reason.
Marketplace reconnect needed
One of your marketplaces went yellow. The bell links straight to the Marketplaces page so you can reconnect in two clicks.
Dead-listing alert
A listing has been live for many days without a sale — Closo suggests refreshing or repricing.
Task timeout
Something took longer than expected. Closo will retry; the bell tells you so you are not surprised.
SEO published
Title Booster updated a title or description on one of your listings.
Info
General Closo product updates — new features, occasional tips, account-wide announcements.

Severity colors

A green dot means something good happened — a sale, a successful post. A yellow dot means something needs your attention soon, but is not urgent — a reconnect prompt, a captcha required, a slow-moving listing. A red dot means something needs attention now — a repeated-failure alert, a billing failure, an account-safety event.

Where the bell does not show up yet

Inside the new Edit Listing page the bell is not yet present — coming in a future update. Mobile push is not a working notification channel today; it is planned, but there is no committed launch date yet.

Manage what you see

Open Settings from your Account menu and go to the Notifications tab. (The old notification-settings link now redirects here.) These per-event-type toggles control what appears in the in-app bell and banners only — mute any event type you don't want to see, for example everything except sales. Email is controlled separately on the Settings > Email tab, where you choose how often Closo emails you.

Mark read and clear

Click any notification in the tray to open it; that automatically marks it read. A Mark all read button at the top of the tray clears everything in one click.
